Portalterkini.com – Spain – Ahmed Tarouzi said in his statement before the National Hearing that it was Ghali who gave the instructions to carry out the torture on him. A witness to the alleged torture committed by the Polisario in the camps of Tindouf (Algeria) assured, today before the judge of the National Hearing, Santiago Pedraz, that Brahim Ghali was the person who gave the orders and sometimes the Polisario chief was present in the torture sessions.
According to legal sources, Ahmed Tarouzi –an activist who claims to have been kidnapped and tortured by the Polisario front for 11 years– even explained to the Judge during his statement that one of the tortures consisted of pulling out the nails and teeth of prisoners.
“He identified his torturers, among whom were Ghali, although he did not torture in person but gave the orders,” said the same sources. (PERSISMA/Red)
